I have a customer spreadsheet that needs a careful duplicate sweep. The task is to look only at the Name column, spot both obvious (exact-text) and less obvious (fuzzy) repeats, and then visually flag every duplicate rather than deleting or moving them. A light colour fill or conditional-format rule that stands out against my current styling is perfect, as long as the original data order is preserved.

Feel free to tackle the exact matches with straightforward functions and the near-matches with Power Query, a robust formula set, or a short VBA routine—whatever is quickest and most reliable in current versions of Excel.
