Excel Data Collection Automation

I need an Excel workbook that lets my team enter sales figures through a user-friendly form and, with one click, posts each record into a master sheet. The whole point is to make data collection painless and consistent so I can move straight into analysing sales performance later.

Data validation is non-negotiable. The form must stop typos and out-of-range numbers, force date entries to the current financial year, and offer drop-downs for product SKUs and sales reps. Whether you prefer VBA, Office Scripts, or Power Automate is up to you—as long as the solution runs inside Microsoft 365 on both desktop and (ideally) the web.

Deliverables
• Excel workbook with built-in form and automated submission
• All validation rules implemented and tested against sample sales data
• Clear, in-file documentation so non-technical staff can maintain or extend the solution

Acceptance criteria
• Clicking “Submit” appends a fresh, validated row to the master sheet without overwriting existing data
• Invalid entries trigger descriptive messages and block submission
• Code and sheets are protected only where necessary; everything else remains editable
