EventClub College Events Platform

I’m building EventClub, a web-based system that helps students quickly find and register for college events. The core flow is simple: students browse activities by date, category, or club, sign in with Google, and then register—or cancel—whenever plans change. Automatic reminders and real-time updates should keep them informed about every event they’ve joined.

Scope of work
• Front-end: responsive interface where events can be filtered by those three criteria and tapped for details, registration, or cancellation.
• Back-end: secure APIs that manage event listings, student profiles, and registrations, all persisting in a relational database.
• Auth & notifications: integrate Google Sign-In for account creation/login and trigger email or in-app reminders before each registered event.

Acceptance criteria
1. Google authentication completes in under five seconds on modern browsers.
2. A student can locate any published event via date, category, or club filters.
3. Registration/cancellation instantly updates the database and UI without page refresh.
4. Reminder messages reach the student no later than 24 hours before the event.
5. Basic analytics dashboard shows total registrations per event for organizers.

Hand-off
Provide source code, environment setup instructions, and a short demo video so I can verify the flow end-to-end on my own server. Once these items meet the criteria above, the job is done.
