I have a folder of recent event photos that need detailed, text-based descriptions before they can be published. Your first and most important task is to look at each image, identify every person visible, note their name and role (speaker, guest, staff, etc.), and draft a concise but informative alt text or caption that captures that information accurately.

Once the descriptions are complete, I’ll ask you to drop them into a simple spreadsheet alongside the corresponding file names—this covers the small data-entry portion of the job. After that, there may be light administrative follow-ups such as double-checking spelling of names, updating a running log, or flagging any missing images.

What I need from you
• Accurate, human-readable captions for all event photos, highlighting people’s names and roles.
• A clean spreadsheet (Google Sheets or Excel) pairing each file name with its caption.
• Clear, prompt communication so any questions about identities or roles are resolved quickly.
• On-time delivery: please let me know how long you’ll need once you see the file count.

Acceptance criteria
1. Every image on the list is matched with a caption that names the people shown and states their roles.
2. Captions are grammatically correct and no longer than two short sentences each.
3. The spreadsheet is free of duplicated rows, obvious typos, or empty cells.

Tools are up to you—many freelancers prefer Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for tasks like this, and that’s fine with me as long as I receive the files in a common format.

If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable recognizing individuals in photos, and can turn work around quickly, I look forward to collaborating with you.
