I run a small street-side momo cart that sets up around Tilak Nagar each evening, and I need an extra pair of hands during the rush hours. The job is straightforward: arrive by 4:45 pm, help me set up, keep the steamer going, warm the momos correctly, serve customers with a smile, handle basic cash/card exchanges, and pack down by about 10:30 pm (sometimes 11 pm on busy nights). There is no preparation or mixing of the filling—everything comes pre-made—so your focus stays on heating, plating, and maintaining a clean, inviting counter.
What I value
• Customer service skills so every diner feels welcomed and looked after.
• Basic cooking know-how—just enough to manage a steamer safely and keep servings consistent.
• Punctuality: the cart can’t start late.
Prior sales experience isn’t mandatory but would definitely help you settle in faster. If you have handled any food stall, café counter, or similar front-of-house role, do mention it along with your availability for the entire 5:00 pm–10:30 pm window, six days a week.
Deliverables & success markers
1. Arrive on time, set up and close down neatly.
2. Serve hot momos at the right temperature, following my simple hygiene steps.
3. Keep customer wait times low and feedback positive.
4. Reconcile cash/UPI totals with me before leaving each night.
That’s all—steady evening work, friendly environment, and plenty of good food aromas thrown in. If this sounds like your kind of shift, let’s connect and get you behind the steamer this week.
