Evening Babysitter for Autistic Child

I’ll be out at a party and need a reliable sitter to stay with my cousin at my place for the entire evening. He is on the autism spectrum; most of the time he’s perfectly content but can become frustrated if overstimulated. When that happens, putting on some jungle music usually calms him right down. I will not be telling my uncle about me going to this party so please keep this confidential

He enjoys:
• Playing with toys
• Watching TV or movies
• Reading books or being read to

He also likes handling his BB gun in the backyard under close supervision, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing that activity safely or redirecting him to something else if you prefer not to allow it. He likes jungle music so please play it for him during a tantrum

Please bring or pick up simple food for dinner and snacks; I won’t be able to reimburse those costs, so include that in your rate. Apart from serving meals and tidying up afterward, the main responsibility is to keep him engaged, safe, and relaxed until I return later that night.
