Descriptoin: 1. I need an experienced ESP32 firmware developer to build a temperature and humidity monitoring device using an SHT31 or SHT40 sensor over I2C.
2. The firmware should be developed using Arduino IDE and the ESP32 Arduino framework, unless you recommend a better approach.
3. The device must connect to Wi-Fi and provide a phone-friendly setup page for entering or changing Wi-Fi credentials without reflashing the firmware.
4. It must publish temperature and humidity readings as JSON to my MQTT broker every 60 seconds, with a configurable reporting interval and an NTP timestamp.
5. The firmware must automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and MQTT after network or broker interruptions.
6. It must publish alerts to a separate MQTT topic when temperature or humidity exceeds configurable high or low limits, and send a recovery message when readings return to normal.
7. The onboard LED should indicate connection status, and the device will run continuously on USB power without battery or deep-sleep features.
8. The project must be completed within three working days, with Day 1 covering sensor readings, Wi-Fi setup, and initial MQTT publishing, followed by reliability testing and final documentation.
