I am building a small DIY interactive brain-training/puzzle device as a personal project for my father.

The device will combine an ESP32, small display, physical buttons/controls, LEDs, sound, and several simple sensors to create interactive mental challenges and games.

I will be doing the hardware assembly, programming, testing, and construction myself. I am not looking for someone to build the complete project for me.

I am looking for an experienced ESP32 / electronics / embedded systems mentor who can provide guidance when I need help during the project. I am a beginner in electronics and embedded systems, so I’m looking for someone who can guide me step by step.

What I need help with
Choosing compatible and affordable electronic components
Creating a practical parts list and advising where/how to buy them
Understanding wiring and connections
ESP32 programming guidance
Connecting displays, buttons, sensors, LEDs, and other modules
Troubleshooting hardware or software problems when I get stuck
Reviewing my approach and suggesting better solutions
General guidance as I gradually add new features

I would like to work on the project myself and learn along the way. I mainly need someone experienced whom I can contact occasionally when I encounter a problem.

Important

This is a guidance/mentoring project, not a full development job.

I will purchase the components and build the device myself. I am looking for someone patient who is comfortable explaining things to a beginner and providing occasional support throughout the project.
