Position: Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Expert — Data Centers
Type:Contract
Compensation:$100–$140/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:5–10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Review tasks involving design coordination, procurement, vendor data, drawing packages, EOR revisions, constructability, and more.
Check scope interfaces, technical requirements, schedule logic, and material constraints.
Identify ambiguity, conflicting documents, missing constraints, or unrealistic deliverables.
Improve task prompts, supporting artifacts, acceptance criteria, rubrics, and programmatic checks.
Produce clear technical findings and validate corrected tasks end to end.
Qualifications
Must-Have
2+ years of experience delivering data centers or complex capital projects through EPC, design-build, or construction-management models.
Relevant roles include Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Design Manager, Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Commissioning Manager, Project Controls Lead, or Technical Project Manager.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction interfaces.
Able to interpret large document sets, specifications, drawings, schedules, equipment submittals, cost and constraint registers, and field records.
Precise, detail-oriented, and able to explain technical issues clearly in writing.
Preferred
Experience at a leading EPC, design-build, engineering, or construction firm.
PE, PMP, CCM, or commissioning credentials.
