I’m putting together a small series of adult-focused patient education handouts that demystify common medications and treatment options. Over the next seven days I need a junior medical writer who can translate evidence-based information into clear, friendly prose that sits comfortably at about an 8th-grade reading level.

Here’s what the assignment looks like from my side:

• 4–6 handouts (≈800 words each) explaining individual drugs or treatment classes
• Every clinical statement backed by a recent, reputable source—think FDA labeling, PubMed studies, or major guideline documents
• AMA-style in-text citations plus a reference list at the end of each piece
• Logical flow: brief overview → how the medication works → benefits → dosing basics → possible side-effects & precautions → takeaway points
• Delivered in Word or Google Docs, ready for layout and patient review

Timeline is tight: topic list agreed on day one, first drafts by day four, polished finals by day seven after my comments.

If you have a life-science background and can show a couple of short samples that prove you can turn dense clinical data into something any adult patient can grasp, I’d love to hear from you.
