Entertainment Lawyer for House of Mouse

I am moving forward with a feature-length, live-action/animation hybrid based on the classic television property “Mickey’s House of Mouse” (distinct from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse). To proceed responsibly and credibly, I need a licensed U.S. entertainment attorney who already understands Disney’s complex rights landscape.

Here’s what I must achieve:

• Map the full chain of title for “House of Mouse,” identify every internal Disney division or outside party that controls any underlying element, and open the right doors inside the company.
• Secure written authorizations and approvals that give the project legitimate footing—option, license, or shopping agreements that satisfy Disney Legal and Franchise Management.
• Negotiate all key agreements (option/licensing, shopping, life-rights if any characters require them) and outline deal points in industry-standard language.
• Draft an attachment or talent-holding agreement that formally locks me in as the lead live-action performer before the package is presented to Disney-owned labels or outside financiers.

Clear acceptance criteria
1. Written confirmation from the correct Disney rights-holder(s) acknowledging receipt of our proposal and outlining next steps.
2. Executed option/shopping agreement (or equivalent) giving us permission to develop the screenplay.
3. Executed attachment agreement naming me the lead human actor.
4. A brief memo summarizing chain-of-title findings and outstanding issues, if any.

Experience navigating Disney, or similarly high-profile IP holders, and fluency with chain-of-title analysis, rights clearance, and talent attachment agreements are essential. My aim is to bring this property to screen on solid legal ground—and to do so with me already secured in front of the camera.
