Enhance VAT Accounting Spreadsheet

The current workbook no longer mirrors the way we trade. Two additional business accounts have recently been opened and they must sit alongside the original entities in one file so I can see a clear, consolidated picture and calculate our joint VAT without manual tweaks.

I will send over the existing template; it already holds our historic data and formulas, so this job is about restructuring rather than starting from scratch. Here’s what I need once you have the file:

• New tabs or clearly-labelled columns for the 1–2 extra accounts, using the same logic and formatting as the originals.
• Automatic roll-ups that blend the new figures with the existing ones, feeding straight into the VAT summary sheet.
• Error-proofed formulas so any future rate changes or account additions can be slotted in quickly—no hidden links or hard-coded numbers.
• A brief note inside the file describing where you added or altered formulas, making it easy for me to audit later.

When the spreadsheet recalculates VAT for all companies in one click and the totals reconcile with my bookkeeping software, the task is complete.
