Enhance My HTML/CSS Frontend

I have been building my web project for about a year and, up to now, everything rests on plain HTML and CSS that I wrote myself. The skeleton is in place, the pages render, and the content is there—but the experience still feels static and unfinished. I would like an experienced frontend developer to take what I have and push it toward a polished, production-ready interface.

Here’s what you will walk into: a clean codebase containing only HTML and CSS, organised in simple folders and already version-controlled on GitHub. No JavaScript frameworks or CSS libraries are wired in yet, so you are free to recommend or introduce tools like React, Vue, Bootstrap, Tailwind or any other modern stack component if it serves the goal of better interactivity, maintainability, and responsiveness.

Key goals
• Add smooth, accessible interactive behaviour (forms, modals, nav toggles, etc.)
• Refine the styling so the layout looks consistent across modern browsers and devices
• Implement responsive breakpoints that feel natural on mobile, tablet and desktop
• Leave the code readable, commented, and easy for me to continue working on after hand-off
• A brief hand-over note explaining any libraries or build tools you introduce
