English Voice Narrator Using Telegram (Remote) — Language-Learning Video Courses
Two openings: one male voice and one female voice. Native English speakers only — General American accent strongly preferred. 100% remote. Flexible hours. Paid test, if you are invited for the long term job, it will be Commission-only (paid directly by Udemy). Lifetime royalties.
What this is
We produce language-learning video courses and publish them on Udemy. We need two native English narrators (one man, one woman) to be the English voices of a full course set — and to be credited as co-authors who earn a lifetime share of the sales.
You won't write anything or edit video. Our system generates the scripts and builds the videos automatically. Your job is to record short lines, download the finished videos, and upload them to Udemy.
The course set (what you'll be the voice of)
You'll voice English taught to speakers of six different languages — 6 courses in total:
English for Portuguese speakers
English for Spanish speakers
English for Italian speakers
English for French speakers
English for German speakers
English for Turkish speakers
The spoken English is the same across all six — only the on-screen translation changes — so you record the English once and it powers all six courses.
The work
Each course set is 100 lessons, and every lesson has 4 recorded modalities:
Podcast — two voices (you + your co-narrator), alternating
Dialogues — two voices, alternating
Phrases — two voices, alternating
Texts — single narrator (half the lessons are the male voice, half the female voice)
Each modality has 25-40 short phrases. Everything is short, natural, everyday English.
How it works, step by step
You record on Telegram. You and your co-narrator join a private Telegram group with our bot. The bot posts one line at a time. You reply with a voice message of that line. The bot then posts the next line.
Turn-taking (important). For the two-voice modalities (podcast, dialogues, phrases), lines alternate between the man and the woman. The system sends the next line only after the previous line has been recorded — so you must wait for your co-narrator's turn to be completed before yours is sent, and vice-versa. Because of that, the two of you should agree on a shared time to record together. Timing is fully flexible, but you coordinate it between yourselves.
We build the videos. Once all the audio for a lesson is in, our system automatically produces the finished 1080p videos (audio + on-screen subtitles).
You download and upload. You download the finished videos and upload them to Udemy for the courses you're part of.
You get paid — for life. You're added as a co-author, so Udemy pays your share directly to you, for as long as the courses keep selling.
Pay
This is a commission-only role — there is no fixed or upfront pay, only the trial is paid.
You earn 10% of the net commission Udemy passes on for every course you're part of. "Net" means the amount after Udemy's own fees/revenue split — not 10% of the sticker price.
The 10% is per narrator. On a two-voice course, you and your co-narrator each earn your own 10%.
Lifetime: you keep earning as long as the courses sell.
Paid directly by Udemy to you as a co-author (you'll need a free Udemy instructor account).
Payout timing: Udemy pays a month's sales roughly 30–35 days after the end of that month.
Rough illustration (not a guarantee): for around every 1,000 course sales, a narrator earns about US$150. Actual earnings depend entirely on how much the courses sell.
What you need
Native English, clear pronunciation (U.S. accent preferred).
A decent microphone and a quiet room (clean recordings, no background noise).
A Telegram account.
A Udemy instructor account (free — you can create it when hired).
Willingness to coordinate recording times with your co-narrator.
Selection process
Short paid trial: record one 20-line dialogue so we can hear your voice and delivery.
Quick video call on Google Meet to align on the workflow and answer your questions.
Only candidates who pass the trial move forward.
