I have an academic manuscript written in English that must be rendered into clear, native-level Spanish without losing any of its technical nuance or original formatting. The text is structured like a standard journal article—abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and references—so experience with scholarly style guides and terminology is essential.

Your task is straightforward: produce a Spanish version that reads as though it were drafted by a native academic author, mirrors the layout and citation style of the source file, and preserves every table, figure caption, and in-text reference exactly as they appear. Please keep any discipline-specific terms consistent; where no direct Spanish equivalent exists, supply the best recognised Spanish term followed by the English term in brackets on first mention.

I will provide the document in Microsoft Word. Return the translated file in the same format, fully editable, with tracked changes switched OFF (I only need the clean version). A brief glossary of any key terms you felt required special attention would be appreciated as a separate page at the end.

Ideal background: native Spanish linguist with proven academic translation experience and familiarity with tools such as Trados or MemoQ for terminology consistency.

When replying, let me know your estimated turnaround time for approximately 6,000 words and one recent sample of a comparable academic translation.
