Each week I commission two in-depth, educational video scripts on health and wellness aimed at an adult audience, plus a couple of short companion scripts for social clips and teasers.
Scope
• Long form pieces: 1,200–1,600 words each (roughly 8–10 minutes on screen).
• Shorts: 100–150 words, 30–60-second spots that distill the key message or hook viewers for the main video.
Tone & Style
Informative yet conversational—think evidence-based advice presented in plain language, supported by credible sources (PubMed, WHO, peer-reviewed journals). No fluff, no sensational claims. Where useful, weave in storytelling or practical examples that resonate with busy professionals managing work–life balance.
Workflow
I’ll supply a weekly topic or headline on Friday; the first draft for the long script comes back by Tuesday, revisions (if any) by Wednesday, and the shorts by Thursday. Scripts should be delivered in Google Docs with on-screen directions for B-roll, callouts, and key graphics annotated in bold brackets.
Acceptance Criteria
– Content passes Copyscape and AI detectors.
– Factual statements backed by at least two reputable citations.
– Clear intro, body, and actionable takeaway.
– Word counts met; formatting follows the template I’ll provide on kickoff.
If health science writing, video storytelling, and tight weekly turnarounds are familiar territory, this should feel like a smooth rhythm. I’m ready to review work samples showcasing similar educational pieces and begin our first topic outline right away.
