I’m building a 20 × 24 ft wood gazebo on a concrete slab and need a licensed structural engineer to turn my concept into a code-compliant set of basic structural drawings suitable for permit submission. The roof will be conventionally framed and finished with asphalt shingles, and I already have the elevation certificate.
Your task is to review those documents, size all posts, beams, rafters, connections and anchors, and create clear plan, elevation and section views in PDF (DWG preferred as well). A concise calculation summary or design notes showing the assumptions behind your member sizing should accompany the drawings.
If you can apply your stamp in my state, please mention it; otherwise the drawings must still be complete enough for a local professional to review and seal. Let me know your expected turnaround time and anything else you need from me to get started.
