I’m moving from concept to the detailed design phase of a new power-train and need thorough mechanical work completed on two fronts: the engine system and the transmission system. Core layouts and performance targets are already defined; now every component must be engineered to production-ready detail.

Your task is to translate the locked-in concepts into fully-fleshed 3D models, drawings, and analysis packages that can be handed straight to prototype build and suppliers. That means refining geometries, defining tolerances, selecting materials, and validating strength, fatigue, and thermal behaviour.

Scope of work
• Engine system: block, head, cranktrain, lubrication, cooling, accessory mounting—all packaged within our envelope and weight targets.
• Transmission system: geartrain architecture, shafts, casings, clutch interface, shift mechanism, and lubrication paths.

I work primarily in SolidWorks, CATIA, and ANSYS, but I’m open to equivalent professional-grade CAD/CAE suites as long as neutral files (STEP/IGES) and editable natives are supplied.

Deliverables
- Native 3D CAD files plus STEP/IGES exports
- Fully dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T
- FEA/CFD reports demonstrating compliance with safety factors and NVH limits
- Consolidated design report and BOM

Acceptance criteria: all parts must clear agreed structural, thermal, and packaging thresholds; drawings released at Rev A with no outstanding ECOs.

Once you outline your proposed workflow and timelines, we’ll lock in milestones and move straight into the heavy lifting.
