Ongoing Video Editor for Social Media Agency — Reels / TikTok / Shorts
We handle content for multiple client brands: an exotic car rental company, a performance auto shop, and a collision repair center. We shoot a large amount of footage every week (both iPhone and professional cameras) and need a reliable editor to take raw footage dumps and turn them into finished, platform-ready videos.
What you'll be editing:
- iPhone-style raw content: POV drives, shop life, behind-the-scenes, quick hook-driven clips
- Cinematic professional edits: car walkarounds, event recaps, fleet showcases, brand pieces
- Trend-driven short-form: trending audio, text overlays, fast pacing, high retention
- Steady volume: ~39 videos/month across 3 clients (about 10/week)
Pay structure (per-video):
- Simple cuts (talking head, before/afters, basic reels): $15-20/video
- Standard edits (POV drives, shop content, trending formats): $25/video
- Cinematic pieces (event recaps, walkarounds, brand videos): $35-50/video
- Expected monthly earnings: roughly $900-1,200/month for consistent output
What we're looking for:
- You live on Reels and TikTok and know what is performing right now — trending sounds, strong hooks in the first 2 seconds, retention-focused editing
- A clean, modern visual eye — you know when to go big and when simplicity is the answer. No over-edited, effect-stuffed cuts.
- Great instincts for music selection, pacing, and sound design
- Captions/subtitles, basic color correction and grading
- Fast turnaround and clear communication
- Car culture knowledge is a major plus — a large share of the work is automotive
Workflow:
- We upload raw footage to Dropbox or Google Drive with a short brief
- You deliver finished, captioned, vertical (9:16) videos ready to post
- Light revisions as needed
To apply:
- Send 3 to 5 links to your best short-form edits (Reels, TikToks, or Shorts)
- Tell us your typical turnaround time and how many videos per week you can handle
- Bonus: name one trend or editing style you think is performing best right now and why
This is ongoing work for the right person. If you're fast, tasteful, and plugged into what's working on social right now, let's talk.
