I’m organising a forthcoming event and need a persuasive press release that will capture media interest and drive attendance. The goal is to convince journalists, partners and the public of the event’s relevance, news-worthiness and unique value.
What I’ll give you
• Core facts: date, venue, schedule highlights, guest speakers and key statistics
• Brand voice guidelines and any prior coverage
What I expect from you
• A fully written press release in French, structured to standard newsroom format (headline, sub-headline, dateline, body, boilerplate, media contact)
• An English version of the same text so we can pitch to international outlets
• Clear, engaging, persuasive language that stays true to the event’s tone
• Delivery in editable Word or Google Doc, ready for immediate distribution
Acceptance criteria
1. Headline hooks the reader and reflects the central angle.
2. Body copy answers the classic “who, what, when, where, why” within the first 150 words.
3. Call-to-action invites press attendance or coverage opportunities.
4. French and English versions are consistent in messaging and free from grammar or spelling errors.
If you have experience writing or translating press releases for the event industry, I’d love to see relevant samples. Turnaround within three days from project start.
