I’d like to commission a full-scale cinematic documentary produced specifically for a general-public audience. The piece needs to feel polished and story-driven while still holding true to classic documentary style—think strong narrative arc supported by authentic footage, interviews, voice-over, graphics, and a carefully mixed soundtrack.
What I already have
• A broad concept, access to key interviewees, and preliminary research material.
• Provisional shooting schedule and locations.
What I need from you
• Pre-production support: fine-tune the treatment, draft interview questions, lock the shooting script, and prepare a shot list.
• Production: capture 4K footage on location, handle lighting and clean audio, and gather any necessary B-roll.
• Post-production: edit for pacing and clarity, colour-grade, mix sound, add lower-thirds/titles and royalty-free music.
• Final deliverables: a master 4K file plus web-optimised versions (1080p and 720p), trailer/teaser (≤60 s), and all project files neatly organised.
Acceptance criteria
1. Documentary runtime 15–20 minutes, paced for a general-public viewer.
2. Smooth transitions, balanced audio, and no visible technical flaws.
3. Clear fact-checking of every date, stat, and quotation.
4. Two feedback rounds included before the final export.
Preferred tools: Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for editing, After Effects for any motion graphics, and industry-standard audio processing (e.g., Audition, Fairlight).
If you’re confident in crafting cinematic, audience-friendly documentaries and can manage the complete workflow from concept to final cut, I’d love to see your reel and discuss next steps.
