I am building a dedicated freelancing platform whose core value is simple: make it effortless for clients and independent professionals to find one another and start working together. The site must centre on connection, so every feature should serve that primary goal.
Essential features
• Profile creation & powerful search – freelancers and clients must be able to create rich profiles, set skill tags, and surface quickly through keyword or filtered search.
• Built-in messaging – real-time, threaded conversations, file exchange, and read receipts keep all negotiations on-platform.
• Job posting & application workflow – clients publish opportunities, freelancers apply, and both parties track status in a clear dashboard.
User experience must be clean on desktop and mobile, with fast page loads and secure authentication (email, social, or SSO). An admin area to moderate content, verify users, and gather basic analytics will round out the first release. I am open to the framework you know best—React, Vue or Angular on the front end, Node, Laravel or Django on the back end—provided the code is well-structured, documented, and ready for future additions such as payment escrow.
Deliverables will include:
1. A fully deployed, production-ready web application.
2. Source code in a public or private Git repository.
3. Set-up and hosting instructions so the system can be rebuilt from scratch.
4. A brief test report demonstrating that profiles, messaging, and job workflows function flawlessly.
The project is ready to start as soon as we agree on milestones and timeline; quality, scalability, and clear communication matter most to me.
