Enable Live TV on Emby

I run an Emby server and want to turn on the built-in Live TV feature so I can drop in IPTV-format m3u playlists whenever I like and have them play flawlessly on every Emby client, including my smart-TV app. At the moment I’m not even sure whether I already have the right plugins installed, so the first step will be a quick audit of my current setup.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Activate and configure Emby’s Live TV section so it recognises and streams m3u playlists that contain IPTV channels.
• Integrate the specific EPG sources I already have, mapping them correctly to those channels so programme data populates in the guide.
• Show me—ideally in a brief screen-share or concise written walkthrough—how to add, replace, or update additional m3u files in the future without breaking the guide or existing settings.
• Validate the solution on at least one Emby client (the TV app) to confirm smooth channel switching, correct logos, and accurate guide data.

If you prefer particular tools or helper plugins for m3u or EPG handling, that’s fine as long as the end result stays inside Emby’s native interface and remains easy for me to maintain.
