I need a concise yet fully-defensible Validation & Verification report for a desktop/embedded software component that is headed into regulatory submission. The emphasis is on demonstrating safety, reliability, and performance, while also showing that our documentation set and development process comply with EU MDR (2017/745), ISO 13485:2016, IEC 62304, and ISO TR 80002-2.
You will work from the existing requirement specifications, risk analysis, unit/integration test results, and design history file that I will provide. The final document must integrate traceability from requirements through testing, reference each risk control measure, and highlight any open issues or non-conformities with clear recommendations.
Deliverables
• Complete V&V report in editable format (Word) and locked PDF
• Updated traceability matrix covering all software requirements
• Summary of test evidence with links to raw results
• Gap analysis of development documentation against the cited standards
Acceptance criteria: every requirement is traced, every risk is addressed, terminology matches the referenced standards exactly, and the report can pass an internal auditor’s desk review without rework.
If you’ve authored similar reports for regulated desktop or embedded software and are comfortable citing the above standards, I’d love to see a brief sample outline or redacted past work when you reply.
