I will provide complete hardware schematics and expect production-ready C/C++ firmware that brings the board to life. The microcontroller must talk cleanly to all attached sensors and peripherals over I2C, SPI, and UART, expose both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy, and push data to the cloud.

Here is the functional scope: the code should stream sensor readings, full device status, and battery level, while also accepting remote-control commands coming back from the cloud. We have not yet selected a back-end, so part of the engagement is to recommend, spin up, and integrate an MQTT-compatible service (AWS IoT Core, HiveMQ, Mosquitto on a VPS—whichever you justify as the best fit).

Low-power operation is critical: sleep scheduling, peripheral power gating, and any compiler-level optimisations need to be in place so the device can run off battery for extended periods. Please hunt down and patch edge-case bugs before hand-off; stability tests and graceful recovery from network drops are mandatory.

Deliverables:
• Fully commented source code and build scripts
• Configuration files for the chosen MQTT/cloud service
• Brief README explaining flash process, cloud onboarding, and how to issue remote commands
• A short report on power benchmarks and test results

Toolchain is flexible; I’m comfortable with GCC/Clang, CMake, FreeRTOS, and common BLE/Wi-Fi SDKs, so use what lets you hit the spec quickly and cleanly.
