I’m building an industrial-grade robotic setup and need a sharp embedded-systems mind to move the control electronics from concept to reliable hardware-in-the-loop operation. The work centres on firmware that drives motors, interprets sensor data and communicates over CAN bus or OBD-II–style diagnostics. Most of the prototyping will happen on Arduino or ESP32 boards before we freeze the design onto a custom PCB, so familiarity with Altium Designer or KiCad for schematic capture and layout is essential.

Here’s how I see the collaboration flowing:
• Translate high-level motion requirements into C/C++ firmware with clean, well-commented code.
• Select, integrate and tune motor drivers, encoders and safety interlocks so the robot meets industrial-speed repeatability targets.
• Design a compact, production-ready multilayer PCB; deliver the Gerbers, BoM and assembly notes.
• Implement diagnostics hooks over CAN so field technicians can trace faults quickly.
• Provide concise documentation—block diagrams, pin maps, test procedures and any MATLAB/Simulink models you use for control verification.
