Email Reminder Automation Tool

I need a small desktop utility that takes the drudgery out of sending routine emails, messages, and reminders. The whole point is to automate a set of repetitive communication tasks that currently chew up my day, so the finished software must run locally (Windows or cross-platform if possible), trigger at scheduled times or events, and send the prepared content without further manual intervention.

Core requirements
• Desktop software or stand-alone automation script—no cloud subscription dependencies.
• Primary function: automatically dispatch emails, text messages, or similar reminders I define.
• Straightforward interface for adding, editing, and disabling scheduled messages.
• Basic logging so I can verify what was sent and catch failures quickly.

I am open on language and framework; Python (with SMTP libraries), C#, or even a lightweight Electron build would all work as long as setup is hassle-free. Please include the compiled application, readable source code, and a brief README that explains installation, configuration, and how to add or modify schedules. Clean, well-commented code and a quick turnaround will be the deciding factors.
