Yes. For a freelancer website, you should present this as a technical email migration / DNS configuration project. You can use the following project description:
Email Backup, Migration & DNS Configuration
Project Overview
I have 3 professional email accounts purchased through GoDaddy. I have recently changed my website hosting/server, and after the hosting migration, the email accounts are not working correctly.
I need an experienced freelancer to securely back up the existing emails, restore/configure the email accounts, and fix all required DNS records so that the email service works properly with the new hosting/server.
Scope of Work
Take a complete backup of all emails, folders, contacts and required mailbox data before making changes.
Ensure the existing email data is not lost during the migration.
Configure/activate all 3 email IDs on the new server/hosting environment.
Correct MX records so incoming emails are delivered correctly.
Configure and fix SPF records for proper email authentication.
Configure and fix DKIM records for email authentication.
Check DMARC configuration and recommend/configure it if required.
Remove conflicting or incorrect DNS records related to the previous hosting/email setup.
Verify DNS propagation and email authentication.
Test sending and receiving emails from all 3 email accounts.
Check that emails are not unnecessarily going to spam.
Configure the email accounts on required devices/mail clients if necessary.
Provide a final confirmation that all 3 email accounts are working correctly.
Important Requirements
The freelancer must have experience with:
GoDaddy Email
GoDaddy DNS Management
Email migration and mailbox backup
MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records
DNS troubleshooting
Email authentication
Website/server hosting migration
Outlook/Gmail/mail-client configuration
Expected Result
At the end of the project:
3 email accounts should be fully active and functional, with existing emails safely backed up, correct MX/SPF/DKIM records configured, and successful sending/receiving verified.
Important
No existing emails or mailbox data should be deleted or lost during the process. Please take a proper backup before making DNS or mailbox changes.
