My inbox is growing faster than I can keep up, so I’d like you to become the friendly first point of contact for every customer who reaches out by email. Your core duty is simple: open each incoming message, understand the customer’s request, and send a clear, personable reply that resolves the issue or next step.
All messages come through a single support address; no phone queues or social platforms are involved right now, though I may occasionally ask you to schedule or place a brief follow-up call if an email can’t fully solve the matter. Most inquiries are personal in tone—customers want quick updates, clarifications, or reassurance—so a warm writing style and flawless grammar are essential.
You’ll receive:
• A knowledge-base document outlining our products, policies, and sample replies
• Login credentials to the shared mailbox (Gmail) and our lightweight ticket tag system
• A daily summary template to keep me up to date on open threads or issues you’ve flagged for my review
Success looks like inbox zero at the end of your shift, with every customer feeling heard and helped. If you’re timely (24-hour response window), empathetic, and comfortable adapting canned replies into natural conversation, you’ll fit right in.
