I’m looking to add a small team of remote assistants who can jump straight into our inbox and live-chat queue and keep response times low. Day to day you’ll be taking care of three core duties: replying to the quick, common questions customers send us, processing order-, account-, and billing-related requests, and walking users through basic troubleshooting for our product and service.
All of the information you need is already documented—our public FAQ, internal help center articles, past email/chat threads, and a set of product guides and policy docs. You’ll pull from those resources first, adapting the language to suit each customer’s tone.
Whenever a question falls outside the scope of what’s documented or you aren’t completely confident in the answer, the rule is simple: ask the customer for any extra details you need before proceeding. If clarity still isn’t there, flag it so a senior agent can step in.
I value clear, friendly writing, consistent formatting, and accurate tagging of each conversation in our help desk. Once you’re up to speed I’ll measure success by first-response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores, so attention to detail is key.
If you’ve handled multi-channel support before and are comfortable learning from written resources, I’d love to hear how you can help keep our customers happy.
