Elegant Silk Scarf Designs

Project Description

I'm looking for an experienced textile print designer to help refine and elevate two existing silk scarf designs for an upcoming fashion retail collection.

The aesthetic should be elegant, timeless, and sophisticated, with a focus on classic luxury scarf patterns, artistic details, and carefully balanced colour combinations.

I already have initial design prototypes that will serve as the foundation for this project. The goal is to professionally refine these designs, improve their overall composition and detailing, and prepare them for high-quality digital printing on silk.

Project Scope

The project includes two scarf designs with a total of five colour variations:

1. Square Silk Scarf
- Refine an existing pattern prototype.
- finalise Pantone tbg colour colour codes for three colour variations.

2. Triangle Silk Scarf
- Refine an existing pattern prototype.
- Develop two sophisticated colour variations with respective Pantone tbg colour codes .
- Adapt the design to the triangular scarf format, considering how the pattern appears when worn.

Deliverables
- Two finalized scarf designs based on the existing prototypes.
- Five finalized colourways in total with respective Pantone tbg colour codes (three square, two triangle).
- High-resolution, production-ready digital printing files for each colourway.
- Editable source files (preferably Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop).
- Correct dimensions, resolution, and colour specifications suitable for professional digital silk printing.

Requirements
- Proven experience in textile and scarf print design, ideally for premium or luxury fashion brands.
- Strong understanding of sophisticated colour combinations, pattern composition, and textile aesthetics.
- Experience preparing artwork for digital fabric printing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or comparable professional design software.
- Understanding of how printed patterns translate onto silk fabrics.

Ideal Candidate

I'm particularly interested in designers with a strong artistic eye who can create refined, timeless patterns that feel hand-crafted and luxurious rather than overly digital or artificial.

Experience with silk scarves, hand-drawn botanical illustrations, or traditional luxury textile prints would be a significant advantage.
