AI & Robotics Training – First-Person Video Data Collection

We are currently onboarding individuals and teams for an AI & Robotics Training Data Collection Project.

The project involves recording everyday human activities from a first-person (egocentric) perspective using a head-mounted camera. The collected video data will be used for training AI and robotics systems to develop “Seeing-Doing” capabilities.

We are looking for reliable contributors who can record high-quality footage according to the required guidelines.

Recording Requirements

The footage must meet strict quality requirements to qualify for payment.

1. Hands Must Be Visible
Hands should be clearly visible throughout the active task.
Footage where the hands are out of frame may be rejected and will not be paid.
2. Camera Setup
Use an iPhone 11 or newer.
Camera must be head-mounted.
Record in landscape orientation.
Stable first-person/egocentric field of view is required.
Tripod, handheld recording, portrait video, or incorrect framing will not be accepted.
3. Active Task Recording
Record genuine, continuous everyday activities.
Stop recording when there is no active task.
Staged, fake, idle, or unnecessarily repetitive footage may be rejected.
4. Video Quality
Footage should be stable and sufficiently well-lit.
Excessive camera shaking or poor lighting may result in rejection.
5. Privacy & Safety
No faces should be visible.
Do not record IDs, personal documents, or other personally identifiable information.
Only adults (18+) should appear in the footage.
No NSFW, violent, illegal, dangerous, or unethical activities.
Types of Activities

We are looking for contributors who can record genuine activities in environments such as:

Domestic/Home Activities

Cooking
Cleaning
Organizing
Repairing
Packing
Household maintenance
Other normal everyday activities

Commercial/Workplace Activities

Retail/shop activities
Workshop/garage activities
Hardware-related tasks
Book/stationery shop activities
Other genuine workplace or commercial activities

Activities must be safe, lawful, genuine, and performed by adults.

Equipment Required

Contributors are responsible for arranging their own equipment.

You will need:

iPhone 11 or newer
Suitable head mount for stable first-person recording
Reliable/high-speed internet
Sufficient storage for video recording and uploads
Payment

Payment is based strictly on the duration of footage that successfully passes quality control (QC).

Domestic / Home Activities: ₹240 per approved recording hour

Commercial / Workplace Activities: ₹320 per approved recording hour

Payment is made only for footage that meets the required quality standards and passes final QC.

Rejected footage will not be compensated.

Payment & Billing
Work will be reviewed through a quality-control process.
Payment will be calculated based on approved footage.
Payment will be processed after successful QC approval.
Contributors should be able to provide the required details for payment processing.
Applicable tax deductions may apply.

Prior AI data-collection experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Important: Please apply only if you can consistently meet the recording and quality requirements. This is a quality-sensitive project, and payment is strictly based on footage that passes QC.
