I need a complete educational website that lets me sell courses, test series, and downloadable study materials while giving students a smooth learning experience.
Content & resources
• Courses will be presented mainly as E-books and PDFs, backed up by interactive quizzes that students can take inside the platform.
• I also want a dedicated, well-organised area for topic-wise previous-year questions; this section should remain freely accessible to every visitor so they can sample the value before buying anything else.
Core LMS functions
Progress tracking is essential: each learner must see what they have finished and what still needs attention. A discussion forum for every course or topic must be in place so students and mentors can interact easily. Certificates and other advanced features can stay optional for future phases, but the architecture should allow them to be switched on later without major re-work.
E-commerce requirements
Paid items (full courses, test series, premium study bundles) need a straightforward checkout, coupon support, and an admin panel where I can manage orders, issue refunds, and upload new materials myself. Popular payment gateways for India and international users should be integrated from day one.
Structure I have in mind
1. Public landing page with search and category filters
2. Course/Test Series storefront with detailed product pages
3. Free Previous-Year-Questions library searchable by exam, subject, and topic
4. Logged-in dashboard showing progress bars, quiz scores, and forum links
5. Admin backend where I can upload PDFs, set quiz questions, and view sales & learner stats
Please build on a stable, widely supported LMS engine (WordPress + LearnDash, Moodle, or any modern equivalent) so I can maintain the site without heavy coding. Clean UI/UX, mobile responsiveness, and SEO-friendly URLs are must-haves.
Acceptance criteria
• Fully functional site on my hosting with the sections above
• At least one sample course, quiz, and test series uploaded for demonstration
• Progress tracking and forums tested with two dummy user roles (student, instructor)
• Documentation covering how to add new materials and view analytics.
