Project Overview:
I have a completed book trailer for my novel, Laying Down Bridges: The Shade of Revenge, that requires a few or more targeted visual edits. This project is straightforward and therefore the maximum payout is $85 USD and only bids for that amount or less will be considered. The job requires precise video editing and attention to continuity. Please review "important note" at the end of posting. All of the necessary images have been provided with this post along with the following book trailer video link: https://we.tl/t-ENjiVVf54Fi2x45N
Required Edits:
1. Hair Continuity Correction (Neville)
o In two clips, modify the hairstyle of the character Neville (wearing a red, white, and blue collared shirt).
o The current trailer shows an inconsistency: one clip depicts small mauve curls, while another shows straight mauve-colored hair.
o Neville's hair should be mauve-colored and straight in both clips to maintain visual continuity.
2. Character Replacement (Broderick)
o In the park scene, replace the existing image of Broderick (wearing a white collared shirt and blue slacks) with the child shown in the provided reference image.
3. Remove Facial Scar (Officer Max Cain)
o Remove the visible reddened scar from the face of Officer Max Cain in the identified clip.
4. Detective Badge Correction
o Review the female detective's badge and ensure it:
Is appropriately sized.
Appears realistically attached to her hip.
Maintains proper proportions and positioning throughout the scene.
5. Remove Embedded Text and Correct Misspelled Signage
o Remove all occurrences of the embedded text:
"Laying Down Bridges"
"Final Book Trailer"
o Both text overlays appear throughout various portions of the trailer and must be completely removed from the final version.
o Also remove or correct the distorted and incorrectly spelled "condominium" signage visible in the trailer, ensuring that any replacement text is properly spelled, clear, and visually realistic.
Milestones:
Milestone 1 – Draft Edit
• Deliver a draft version showing completion of all requested visual edits.
• The embedded text ("Laying Down Bridges" and "Final Book Trailer") may remain in place at this stage.
• Payment will be released upon review and approval of the draft.
Milestone 2 – Final Master Version
• Upscale the trailer to the highest possible resolution while preserving image quality.
• Remove all occurrences of the embedded text ("Laying Down Bridges" and "Final Book Trailer").
• Deliver the final high-resolution version.
• Payment will be released upon delivery and approval of the completed video.
Additional Notes:
• Please include examples of similar AI-assisted video editing, VFX, compositing, character replacement, continuity correction, or restoration work in your proposal.
• Submit a bid only if you have the requisite video-editing software, tools, and expertise to complete all requested edits and deliver a professional-quality final product.
***Most Important Note:
Please review all project details, reference images, and the video link carefully before submitting a bid. The maximum budget for this project is $85. Your bid must be $85 or less. Any bid exceeding $85 will not be considered. By placing a bid, you acknowledge that you fully understand the scope of work and agree that your bid amount, not exceeding the maximum budget, is the final amount you are willing to accept for completing the project. No additional compensation beyond the accepted bid will be considered.
To demonstrate that you have reviewed and understood the project requirements, begin your proposal with the following statement:
"I have reviewed all project details, reference images, and the video link. I understand and accept that the maximum project budget is $85 and that my bid amount is final. I fully understand the scope of work, can complete all requirements as specified, and will not request any additional compensation beyond my accepted bid."
Proposals that do not include this statement may be rejected without further consideration.
