Scope of work:
Full manual language edit for clear, natural academic English. Several passages were damaged by a paraphrasing tool: broken sentences, merged headings, misspelled scientific names. Every edit must be done by hand. No AI paraphrasing or rewriting tools.
Consistency check. Fix numbers that disagree between text and tables, and number tables and figures in citation order. Check that every in-text citation matches the reference list.
Abstract. Rewrite it as a single paragraph of about 200 words.
MDPI formatting.
Use the MDPI Water template with numbered references [1].
Manuscript details:
About 15,000 words of main text, plus appendix tables and about 92 references.
Word (.docx) format.
Subject area: environmental microbiology, aquaculture, nitrogen cycling.
Requirements:
A background in biology, environmental science or agriculture is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with MDPI author guidelines.
Confidentiality: The manuscript is unpublished. The editor must not share, reuse or upload it to any AI service.
Deliverables:
An edited .docx with tracked changes.
A clean .docx in the MDPI template.
A brief list of any issues needing my decision.
