eBay Book Typing & Analysis

I have a collection of book listings that currently exist only as scanned PDFs. Your first task is to type the information faithfully into a clean, well-structured spreadsheet so every title, author, ISBN, condition note, and price field is error-free.

The real value of this project, though, lies in advanced data analysis. Once the data is captured:

• Data categorization – Please assign each book to clear, logical categories and sub-categories that match common eBay browsing habits.
• Sales trend analysis – Use recent eBay completed-listing data to highlight average sale prices, sell-through rates, and seasonal peaks for each category. Charts or pivot tables that make these trends obvious will help me a lot.
• Market research – Summarise the competitive landscape: typical pricing bands, high-demand authors, and any gaps where my inventory can stand out.

Deliverables
1. The finalized spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) with clean data and categorization columns.
2. A concise trend analysis report, accompanied by supporting graphs/tables.
3. A brief market-research summary highlighting actionable insights.

Accuracy in typing, insightful analysis, and clear presentation are the keys I’ll use to sign off on the work. If you already use tools such as Excel Power Query, Tableau, or Python pandas for similar e-commerce projects, do mention it when you respond—those skills will speed us both along.
