I’m ready to launch an online store for physical products and need an experienced UI/UX-focused web developer to take it from concept to live site. The goal is a fast, intuitive shopping experience that feels polished on desktop and mobile alike.
Here’s the core scope I have in mind:
• Visual & interaction design: Craft clean, conversion-oriented layouts, consistent component library and brand-aligned colour/typography choices.
• Front-end build: Responsive HTML/CSS/JS (or a modern framework you’re comfortable with) that mirrors the approved mock-ups pixel-perfectly.
• Shopping experience features:
– Robust product filters (e.g., category, price, ratings) that update results instantly.
– Shopper wishlist that saves between sessions.
– User reviews with star ratings and comment moderation dashboard.
• Storefront essentials: Product catalogue, cart, secure checkout, order confirmation emails and analytics hooks.
Acceptance criteria
– Mobile first, loads in under 3 s on 4G.
– WCAG-compliant colours and touch targets.
– Fully tested across Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, iOS & Android.
– Code handed over via Git with clear README for local setup.
If you have a portfolio of e-commerce sites showcasing thoughtful UI and solid UX metrics, I’d love to see it. Let me know your preferred tech stack and approximate timeline so we can get started.
