E-Commerce Web App Development

I’m kicking off a brand-new e-commerce web application and need the full stack work handled end-to-end. The project starts with blank repos, so you’ll architect both front-end and back-end, connect the two cleanly, and deliver a production-ready platform that lets shoppers browse, add to cart, pay securely, and track their orders.

We’ll decide on the precise tech stack together, but I expect modern, widely-supported tools—think React or Vue on the front end, Node.js, Laravel, or a comparable framework for the API layer, and a robust SQL or NoSQL database underneath. Clean code, clear commit history, and well-commented components are essential because this will be the foundation for future feature additions.

Key deliverables
• Responsive customer-facing interface with product listings, search, filters, and cart
• Secure user authentication, profile management, and password reset flows
• Payment gateway integration (Stripe or similar, final choice is open)
• Admin dashboard for inventory, order, and user management
• Deployment scripts or Docker setup plus concise setup documentation

Acceptance criteria
• All major user journeys complete without console errors or server exceptions
• Meets basic OWASP security guidelines (input validation, hashed passwords, HTTPS ready)
• Page load time under 3 seconds on a standard 4G mobile connection
• Codebase passes linting and unit tests you include

I’ll be available daily for quick feedback loops and am ready to spin up staging and production environments as soon as the first milestone is ready to ship.
