I’m launching a brand-new online shop that will sell physical products requiring shipping, and I want the full buying journey to feel fast, intuitive, and trustworthy. The store must include:
• Product search with clear category filters so visitors can reach any item in just a few clicks.
• Secure customer accounts with order history, status updates, and tracking information pushed automatically once a parcel ships.
• A checkout that lets shoppers pay their preferred way—credit or debit cards, PayPal (or comparable wallets), and even cash on delivery or direct bank transfer—while keeping PCI compliance front and centre.
The design should be responsive, easy for me to update with new products and promotions, and optimised for speed and SEO from day one. If you have a preferred platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom build, etc.) mention why you think it’s the right fit, along with any shipping or tax tools you plan to integrate.
Please share a concise outline of your approach, the tech stack you’d use, and a realistic timeline to reach a launch-ready site.
