E-commerce Product Listing Assistant Needed

About the Role

I am looking for a reliable, detail-oriented E-commerce Product Listing Assistant to help grow an established online reselling business.

I will provide clear product photos and the necessary product information. Your job will be to turn these into professional, accurate and SEO-friendly listings and upload them to our selling platforms.

The main purpose of this role is to increase our listing volume and consistency so that we can get more of our existing stock online and generate more sales.

Your Responsibilities
Create and upload product listings to Vinted and eBay
Write clear, accurate and SEO-friendly product titles
Write concise but informative product descriptions
Select the correct category, brand, size, colour and other attributes
Add relevant keywords naturally
Use the photos and information provided to create each listing
Follow our pricing instructions
Ensure listings are accurate and professional
Avoid making up product specifications or information
Keep track of completed listings
Follow our listing templates and processes
Flag anything where information is missing or unclear

We sell a variety of products, including:

Clothing
Footwear
Books
Watches
Accessories
Home and lifestyle products
Other general consumer goods

You should be comfortable researching products online when necessary to confirm basic product information, but accuracy is extremely important.

What I Will Provide

I will provide:

High-quality product photographs
Product name/model where available
Size and condition
Any relevant product information
Pricing guidance
Listing templates/instructions

You will not be responsible for sourcing products, taking photographs, packing orders or purchasing stock.

What I'm Looking For

The ideal freelancer will:

Have previous experience with Vinted, eBay or other e-commerce platforms
Have excellent written English
Understand basic SEO and keyword optimisation
Be highly detail-oriented
Be able to work independently
Follow instructions consistently
Work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
Have good attention to spelling and grammar
Be comfortable working with spreadsheets
Be reliable and communicate clearly

Experience with bulk listing or product catalogue management is a major advantage.

Initial Trial

I would like to start with a paid trial of 30–50 listings.

This will allow us to assess:

Listing quality
Accuracy
Speed
Communication
Ability to follow instructions
Understanding of SEO
Overall attention to detail

If the trial goes well, I would like to develop this into an ongoing role with regular batches of products.

Workload

The workload will initially be based around batches of products.

I expect to regularly provide batches of approximately 20–50 products, with the potential to increase this significantly as the business grows.

I am looking for someone who can become a reliable part of the business rather than completing a one-off project.

Accuracy is more important than simply producing large numbers of listings.
