I need a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement developer who can take full ownership of our environment—designing, developing, and continuously improving secure, scalable solutions.
The day-to-day work will revolve around three areas:
• Customization and enhancements – building new entities, forms, plugins, Power Automate flows, JavaScript, and business rules that follow best-practice patterns in C#/.NET.
• Integrations and APIs – exposing and consuming REST endpoints, writing Azure Functions, and wiring everything together through Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, or similar middleware while keeping performance and security front of mind.
• Ongoing support and maintenance – monitoring with Azure DevOps pipelines, troubleshooting issues, improving test coverage, and refining deployments so that each release is smooth and repeatable.
I am already set up with Azure DevOps repos and pipelines, so you’ll be able to branch, merge, and deploy from day one. Code quality, unit testing, and clear documentation are non-negotiable—everything must be easy to maintain and hand over.
Acceptance criteria:
1. All custom code follows Microsoft’s ALM guidelines and passes peer review.
2. Integrations work reliably under load with full error handling and logging.
3. Feature releases deploy through our CI/CD pipeline with zero downtime.
4. Up-to-date technical and user documentation is provided for each sprint.
If you have deep hands-on expertise with D365 CE, C#/.NET, Azure PaaS services, and Git-based DevOps workflows, I’d love to hear how you would approach this.
