I run a small but growing YouTube channel that breaks down sociology and philosophy concepts for a general audience. The ideas may be academic, yet the presentation I’m after is anything but dry. For each episode I film a straight-to-camera lecture; you’ll transform that raw material into a visually dynamic, humorous, and light-hearted video that keeps viewers glued to the screen.

Here’s what usually works best for my audience: quick-cut pacing, lively background music, and smart comedic timing paired with on-screen punchlines. Animations should illustrate abstract theories, royalty-free stock footage can ground examples in everyday life, and bold text overlays must highlight key quotes or definitions without overwhelming the frame. I’ll provide a rough outline and talking points, and I’m happy to suggest references or visual metaphors, but I count on your creative instincts to elevate the lesson.

Typical episode length: 8–12 minutes after editing. I record in 4K; you may finish in 1080p or 4K as long as the final master is crisp and ready to upload. Each delivery should include:
• The final video (H.264 .mp4) with balanced audio and colour-corrected footage
• An .srt subtitle file synced to the dialogue
• Any project files (Premiere, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve) so I can make last-minute tweaks if needed

Turnaround is one video per week, though I batch-record so some weeks may be lighter and others heavier. If a concept sparks a fresh editing idea—whether that’s split-screen debates, fast-scrolling citations, or playful meme inserts—feel free to pitch it. Creativity that serves clarity is always welcome.

If this blend of intellect and entertainment sounds like your kind of project, send over a link to two or three edits that showcase similar energy. Let’s make philosophy binge-worthy together!
