I need a desktop dashboard that turns our existing “day list” and the PIPELINE raw data feed into a single, always-up-to-date master planning board for our 14-door warehouse.
Scope of data
• Inbound and Outbound Freight movements
• Import and Export flows for CTN / FR / OT containers
• Specialized Destuffing and OOG Line-Haul activity
Core functionality
The application must ingest the two data sources, refresh automatically, and present the information through clear charts and graphs. Real-time status indicators, along with fast search and multi-field filters, will let the operations team slice the view by door, date, container type, or any other relevant tag without lag.
Workflow expectations
1. Connect to the PIPELINE feed (CSV or API as it stands today) and the day list spreadsheet.
2. Map the key fields so that all movements appear on one timeline/board.
3. Build visual widgets—door utilisation gauges, inbound vs outbound bar charts, and an exceptions panel for OOG or special freight.
4. Package everything as an easy-to-install Windows desktop app; no web deployment needed.
Acceptance criteria
• Data refresh triggers automatically every X minutes and on demand.
• Filters return results in under two seconds on the current data volume.
• All three data groupings above are visible both numerically and graphically.
• An executable or installer, plus commented source code, is delivered for hand-over.
If you have experience with desktop BI tools (e.g., Power BI Desktop with Publish-to-file, Tableau Desktop, Electron + React, or a lightweight .NET dashboard), note it—any stack is fine as long as it remains desktop-only and fits the live-update requirement.
