Duplex Home Plan Design Needed

I’m getting ready to construct a two-unit home and need a clear, build-ready concept plan. The look I’m after blends clean modern lines with familiar traditional Indian touches—think contemporary proportions paired with vernacular details rather than a full heritage replica.

I’ve sketched a few rough ideas for room placement, circulation, and a common stairwell, but they’re far from final. I’m happy for you to challenge or refine them so that both units feel balanced, well-ventilated, and naturally lit. Plot dimensions, local codes, and a short brief on family needs will be shared as soon as we start.

What I expect at this stage:
• Scaled floor plans for each unit (PDF plus editable CAD)
• Simple front and rear elevations that illustrate the modern-meets-traditional character
• A basic 3D massing or perspective to communicate volume and façade elements

No full construction set is required right now—just enough detail for cost estimation and municipal feedback.

When you reply, put the focus on your experience designing duplexes or similarly compact residential projects. A concise portfolio link or a few screenshots of past plans will be ideal; lengthy formal proposals aren’t necessary at this point.
