Do not enter a specific number in the public listing — select Freelancer.com's highest available budget bracket (or mark "Budget: to be discussed based on detailed brief") so bidders quote against the actual scope rather than anchoring to a number you post. Serious agencies will ask for the full brief before quoting; treat early quotes with no questions asked as a red flag.
Estimated Duration:-
4–7 months for Phase 1 (exact timeline is one of the things we're asking bidders to propose)
Description (paste into the project description field):-
We're a UK-based digital delivery consultancy acting as prime contractor for a confidential end client — a global B2B manufacturer — on a full website rebuild and consolidation project. We're looking for an experienced Drupal agency or senior freelance team to execute the build under our direction.
The project, in brief:-
Our client currently runs a network of roughly 21 WordPress sites (one shared parent site feeding ~19–20 child sites, with the main site carrying ~90% of traffic), ageing and increasingly hard to maintain. We're consolidating this into a single Drupal site, hosted on an existing Pantheon account, supporting 15 languages with full content parity required at launch (no phased rollout).
Core scope includes:-
Drupal build on Pantheon (content types, admin workflows, theming to supplied brand guidelines)
Multi-language architecture across 15 languages using Drupal's native translation system
Geo-IP detection and market/language switching, with per-market contact details
Migrating and consolidating content from ~21 legacy WordPress sites into one unified structure (~250 product pages plus supporting content)
Legacy URL audit and redirect mapping (the current URL structure is inconsistent and needs a proper migration plan), plus GA/GTM consolidation
Product data integration from a PIM system via CSV or API (~300 SKUs / ~250 product pages)
A native stockist/dealer locator tool synced with Salesforce account data (replacing a current third-party iframe)
Native multi-language contact/newsletter/registration forms pushing submissions into Salesforce via a form-handler (not a third-party form embed)
WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, Google Tag Manager/consent setup, and QA/UAT across all 15 locales
Explicitly out of scope: e-commerce, user login/authenticated areas, and persona-based navigation structures — none of these are required.
What we need from you:
Please do not bid blind. Message us for the detailed requirements brief (anonymized, covers every workstream individually) and we'll share it once you've accepted the project NDA. We need your own itemized effort/cost estimate per workstream, your proposed timeline, your relevant Drupal/multilingual/Salesforce experience, and case studies of comparable work (multi-language Drupal builds, WordPress-to-Drupal migrations, or CRM form integrations are all directly relevant).
We're evaluating on technical fit and delivery track record, not lowest price — please quote what the work actually requires.
(I’ve set a budget range randomly to start, but I’d really value your perspective on where this project realistically falls based on your expertise)
