I’m launching an online marketplace where clients can go straight to the source—independent owner-operators—and hire them for transportation without any commission cuts. The entire flow has to feel as direct and friction-free as calling the driver next door, yet still give both parties the structure they need to do business safely.
Core experience
• Clients land on the site, search or filter, and instantly see owner-operator profiles.
• Each profile shows the driver’s vehicle type, service area, live availability, headline rates, customer reviews and direct contact details.
• From that profile a client hits “Book Now,” which sends a direct booking request that the driver can accept or decline in their dashboard.
Key features I expect you to deliver
1. Driver self-registration with guided profile builder for the fields above.
2. Client account creation plus a clean search & filter interface.
3. Booking-request workflow with notifications for both sides.
4. Ratings & review system tied to completed jobs.
5. Admin panel that lets me verify drivers and moderate content.
Tech stack is open; I’m comfortable discussing React, Laravel, Node, or similar modern frameworks as long as the final product is responsive and ready to scale. Clean code, straightforward UI/UX, and clear hand-off documentation will be the benchmarks for acceptance.
