I need a full-length, cinematic music video 4:37 long, built entirely around my original character. I will provide nothing but the Character and the song with lyrics. The lyrics will guide the narrative, yet there is absolutely no lip-syncing—every beat should be conveyed instead through atmosphere, camera movement, and the character’s silent presence.
Visual tone
Think dreamy, wishing, realistic, romantic rather than dark or hyper-energetic. I’m picturing soft, almost ethereal grading, fluid depth-of-field work, and a gentle play with natural light or carefully placed practicals that give each scene a subtle glow. Country side, road side type of visuals with the character.
Staging the journey
The storyline unfolds as my character moves through a sequence of distinct locations but mainly emotions, feelings—each chosen for how well it echoes the changing emotion of the track. Whether it’s a misty shoreline, a candle-lit hall, or a twilight city rooftop, each setting should breathe with the music so the visuals feel like the lyrics were born from the motions and made tangible.
Key points you must observe
• One on-screen presence only: my character. No additional actors or background performers.
• Actions follow the lyrics’ emotional arc; let the settings and shot composition carry the story.
• Cinematic live-action quality expected—professional lighting, smooth camera work, and thoughtful color work.
• No mouthing or singing; body language, framing, and transitions do the storytelling.
Deliverables
• A brief treatment summarizing scene-to-scene mood mapping to the song
• Shot list and visual references for approval
• Final 4K master video plus graded and ungraded versions
• All project files (Premiere / DaVinci or similar) for archival
If you excel at translating music into evocative visuals and can manage the full production pipeline—from pre-production through final color—let’s make this happen.
Time is not in the question as we need this video perfect before the release of the single.
The character and lyrics are attached for reference.
