I’m producing a cinematic short film with a distinctly dramatic tone and want every frame to speak through strong visual storytelling. I need someone who can handle both the on-location shoot and the complete post-production cycle, weaving atmosphere, emotion, and narrative together into a polished final cut.
Here’s what the project looks like from my side:
• Pre-production support: refine my script breakdown, shot list, and visual references so we walk onto set with a clear plan for lighting, camera movement, and blocking that heightens tension and mood.
• Principal photography: capture crisp, film-like footage (4K or better) using cinematic lenses, controlled lighting, and smooth motion rigs. Natural audio capture is important, but I’m open to supplemental ADR or foley if it serves the story.
• Editing & finishing: assemble a tight narrative in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, apply color grading for a rich, dramatic palette, mix sound for emotional impact, and deliver the master in both ProRes and high-quality H.264 formats.
Acceptance criteria:
– Visual storytelling must drive every scene; no exposition-heavy dialogue cuts unless it advances character or plot.
– Final runtime approximately 5–7 minutes.
– Two rounds of revisions included to fine-tune pacing, grade, and audio.
– All raw footage and project files handed over on completion.
If you thrive on atmosphere, understand how subtle camera choices amplify emotion, and can take a concept from storyboard to screen, let’s talk timelines and logistics.
