I’m launching an education-focused YouTube channel on history, geography and geopolitics and need a reliable editor who can handle both short and long-form content every month.

The core style I’m after is documentary-style editing that blends stock footage and images with smooth transitions and an academic yet engaging pace. Alongside the script I’ll supply you with reference links; your job is to weave them together with a mix of royalty-free footage, photos and simple motion graphics so viewers feel they’re watching a polished mini-documentary.

Monthly workload and deliverables:
• 4 vertical reels (up to 3 min each)
• 4 standard YouTube videos (up to 25 min each)

All videos must be ready for upload—colour-graded, sound-balanced, lower-thirds in place and caption-ready. I prefer editors who work in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, but your tool choice is up to you as long as the final files meet YouTube’s 1080p or higher standards.

To apply, send:
• A detailed project proposal outlining how you’ll approach the edit workflow, revisions and turnaround times
• A link to your portfolio or samples that best demonstrate documentary-style cuts using stock footage and imagery
• Confirmation that you can meet the workload within a monthly budget of up to ₹5,000

I aim to choose an editor for a long-term collaboration this week, so feel free to ask questions and send your proposal as soon as you can.
