I’m planning a surprise proposal weekend and want the entire story told as a warm, documentary-style short film. Rather than a posed, cinematic montage, I’d like you to shadow us and quietly capture the natural flow of the days—travel, small conversations, nervous energy, all of the behind-the-scenes preparation leading up to the big question. Think fly-on-the-wall coverage mixed with a few intentional shots that help stitch the narrative together.

The finished piece should feel authentic and emotionally engaging. I picture a 4- to 6-minute edit set to recognizable, upbeat popular songs that complement the joyful tone. I will secure any necessary song licenses; you just need to build the track into the timeline so the pacing works with the footage.

Deliverables
• A professionally edited full-HD (or higher) documentary-style video, color-graded and sound-mixed
• Titles/lower thirds where helpful to mark moments, plus a clean copy without graphics for flexibility
• All raw footage on a drive or downloadable link so I can archive the memories

Acceptance
If the final cut seamlessly weaves the candid prep moments with the proposal itself, flows naturally to the chosen songs, and requires no more than one minor revision round, I’ll consider the job complete.
